About Jogi Gundi waterfall
Nestled inside Agumbe’s rainforest, Jogi Gundi waterfall is a captivating waterfall falling from a height of 20 feet. One of the highlights of Karnataka’s natural beauty is the waterfall on the road to Barkana Falls. Located 4 km from Agumbe Bus Station,the waterfall is accessible after a 4 km journey from the town; the final 1 km involves a trek along a narrow, steep trail.
Mythology
An interesting story is associated with the waterfall. It is believed to be a place where Saint Jogi meditated, after whose name the waterfall was named. Emerging from a cave, the waterfall flows through a hill before joining the Malapahaari River, a Tungabhadra tributary.
Characterised by eroded rock formations and lustrous green forests. The route to the lake is an ideal place for a half-day excursion. It concluded with a natural pool where visitors can indulge in swimming and appreciate nature’s bounty.

How to Reach Jogigundi waterfall
The trek to the waterfall is moderate and passes through dense forest. The trail is wide in the first 3 km and later narrows down in 1 km.
