One of the prime tourist attractions in Khajuraho is the enchanting Pandav Falls, which are located in the Panna National Park, Madhya Pradesh. The picturesque waterfall is located at a distance of just 14 km from Panna and 34 km from Khajuraho. 

A Natural Delight Fed by the River Ken 

Pandav Falls derives its perennial flow from a tributary of the majestic river Ken, gracing the landscape of Madhya Pradesh. Plummeting from a height of approximately 30 meters, the waterfall forms a mesmerizing heart-shaped pool, captivating visitors with its awe-inspiring cascade.

Falling from a height of 30 meters, the majestic waterfall derives its perennial flow from a tributary of the majestic Ken River. Visitors can take a deep bath in the mesmerizing heart-shaped pool, offering a respite from the heat. 

In the peak monsoon season, the Pandav waterfall is enveloped by lush green forest and a mystic ambiance. In the legend, the Pandavas sought refuge in this very place during their exile. 

The place is an ideal place for a memorable family picnic and swimming in the vicinity of the waterfall. Obtain an entrance from the forest department, Bring your own food for a delightful experience. Be cautious of the monkeys that inhabit the surrounding area, don’t feed them food. 

As the Pandav falls in the Panna tiger reserve, commercial activities are restricted to ensure the preservation of nature.

To reach Pandav Falls by car, you can take the well-connected Khajuraho – Panna Highway. The falls are located approximately 34 km from Khajuraho and 14 km from Panna. The route offers scenic views and is easily navigable. You can enjoy a pleasant drive through the picturesque landscapes of Madhya Pradesh.

Reaching by Train:

For those preferring train travel, the nearest railway station to Pandav Falls is the Khajuraho Railway Station. Khajuraho is well-connected to major cities in India through regular train services. From the railway station, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach the falls, which is approximately 34 km away.

Reaching by Air:

If you wish to travel by air, the nearest airport to Pandav Falls is the Khajuraho Airport. The airport has regular domestic flights connecting it to major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Varanasi. After landing at the Khajuraho Airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Pandav Falls, which is around 34 km away.
