According to a mythological story, Lord Shiva into the form of Lord Ghusmeshwar, granted a boon to his devotees Ghusma by resurrecting her son. In the picturesque Devgiri hills, the name Ghusma became synonymous with the temple, and Lord Shiva decided to stay here.
On the auspicious occasion of Shivratri, thousands of devotees visit the temple to seek the blessing of Lord Ghushmeshwar. The vibrant and colorful atmosphere during the month of Shrawan changes the atmosphere of the temple into the divine aura that envelops it.
Temple Timings
The temple opens its doors to devotees from 4 AM to 12 PM and then again from 4 PM to 10 p.m.
