On the outskirts of Alwar, Rajasthan, at a distance of 10 km from Alwar Junction railway station, the place was constructed by the renowned Maharaja Jai Singh.
He was a passionate person who was a great patron of art and architecture. Prior to the creation of Vijay Mandir Palace, he had overseen the creation of Uaswant Niwas, a palace in Italian style. However, he was not happy with this, so he decided to build the Vijay Mandir Palace, showcasing his love for art and architecture.

Vijay Mandir Palace is designed in such a way that it resembles a majestic ship. Surrounded by lush green gardens, Vijay Mandir Palace looks very captivating with vibrant flowers and trees.
Surrounding the palace is the picturesque Vijay Sagar Lake, which complements the overall grandeur of the palace. It’s a perfect spot for leisurely walks and capturing memorable photographs.
The Sita Ram temple in the Vijay Mandir complex adds a spiritual touch to the overall experience. During the auspicious occasion of Ramnavami, a number of visitors pay homage to Lord Ram and seek blessings.
