About Nichar Valley
Situated on the left bank of the Satluj River, Nichar is a scenic valley situated in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. At an altitude of approximately 2150 meters, the valley is approachable through National Highway 5, which earlier was known as the old Hindustan-Tibet road.
The cradle between the Wangtu and Taranda regions lies in the lower region of Kinnaur.The valley looks green with its diverse flora and fauna. It blessed with a wide range of alpine forest and is home to numerous wildlife species, including antelopes, red bears ghorals, etc. When you enter more into the valley, you will experience the hidden treasure of the valley.
Best time to visit
The temperature remains moderate for a number of months, but the best time to visit is after the monsoon, when the valley changes green.

An ancient temple is dedicated to the deity Usha Devi, who is considered a consort of Surya Bhagawan. The Takri script on the entrance talks about the oldness of the temple. It’s a prominent and religious place in the Nichar valley.

How to Reach Nichar Valley
Numerous buses run from Shimla and then Peo to Bhabha Nagar. Well, Bhabha Nagar is the main center from where you can catch a bus further to Nichar village, which lies in the Nichar valley.
