Seetha River

Falling from a height of 20 feet, its cascade in the surrounding of dense forest that adds to its tranquil and pristine atmosphere.  The waterfall is part of the Seetha River, which is known for its spiritual significance and ecological importance in the Western Ghats.  The river originates from the Agumbe region, called the “Cherrapunji of South India,” known for its high rainfall and biodiversity.

The falls are at their most spectacular during the monsoon season (June to September), when the water flow increases significantly, creating a mesmerising sight.

The best time to visit

The best time to visit the waterfall is after the monsoon season. During the monsoon season,  visitors must exercise caution due to strong currents. Ideal for weekend getaways, the waterfall offers a refreshing setting for a bath.
