About Thusharagiri Falls
Tucked away in the Kozhikode district of Kerala, about 50 km from Kozhikode city, Thusharagiri Falls is a picturesque cascade nestled in the Western Ghats. The name “Thusharagiri” translates to “snow-capped mountains”, referring to the fine spray and mist created by the gushing waters.
The Chalippuzha River splits into two streams here, forming the Erattumukku Falls and Mazhuppalam Falls, which further flow down to create the stunning Thusharagiri waterfall system.
