About Bhuvaneswari Temple
The Bhuvaneswari Temple is one of the most prominent Hindu temples in Tripura, located on the banks of the Gomati River near Udaipur. Dedicated to Goddess Bhuvaneswari, an incarnation of Goddess Durga, the temple is a blend of spirituality, heritage, and architecture.
It also holds a literary connection as the famous Bengali novelist Rabindranath Tagore found inspiration here for his plays Rajarshi and Bisarjan.
