There are many green areas that surround Indore. If you are looking for a peaceful escape, then the Piplyapala Regional Park, also known as Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Park, is the perfect place to spend some tranquil moments in the lap of nature. The Pipliyapala region is a public park that is situated in a sprawling area of 42 acres of land with 80 acres of shimmering lake. 

The Plethora of Activities at Pipliyapala Regional Park

The park has been developed by the Indore Development Authority and is a perfect blend of natural and modern amenities. A canal runs through the park, supplying water to the mist fountain that sprinkles lovely water into the park. Boating and musical fountain amenities are installed in the park. There are a number of varieties of flowers and plants that grow in biodiversity gardens, which are the perfect picturesque spot for nature lovers.  Early in the morning, many people come from the nearby area for the yoga session. A well-laid-out path for joggers to take an early morning walk. There is something for everyone; the French garden is the perfect place to explore different types of flowers. The amphitheater for cultural shows and events is an ideal spot to experience something new. 

A mini-cruiser called Malwa Queen, the first of its kind, houses the park. It has two cabins that accommodate around 80 people. The cruiser has a restaurant and private party room, which makes it an ideal spot for parties and events.

There is a facility for mouth-watering food at the fast zone. You can try different local delicacies and snacks while enjoying the beauty of the park. 

Timing and entry fees

The park is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and charges a nominal fee of Rs. 30 for adults and Rs. 15 for children. The boating charges vary between Rs. 60 and Rs. 800, depending on the type of boat.
