Among the notable attractions in the city of Jodhpur, Jaswant Thada is a remarkable white marble structure that stands out as a stunning tourist destination. Offering a rich glimpse into the rich history and architectural brilliance of Rajasthan, Jaswant Thada is located at a distance of 1 km from the Majestic Mehrangarh Fort.

The splendid cenotaph, Jaswant Thada, was built in 1899 CE by Sardar Singh of Jodhpur in honor of his father, Maharaja Singh II. As a memorial, the splendid cenotaph was built in the style of Rajput architecture and is referred to as the “Taj Mahal of Marwar.”  A cenotaph carved from an intricate sheet of marble emits a warm glow when the rays of the sun illuminate it. Domes, impressive sculptures, exquisite marble stone, and pillars of the main marble resemble a temple

In addition to the cenotaph, the complex has two additional tombs and a small lake. In a serene atmosphere for relaxation and reflection, the cenotaph has a multi-tiered garden surrounding it. Adding mythical surroundings surrounding it, the complex also includes a memorial dedicated to the peacock that flows into a funeral pyre.
