A captivating offbeat trekking destination in Karnataka, Devaramane is nestled 22 km from Mudigere. Devaramane literally means “Abode of God” because of the Kalabhairaveshwara temple. It is perched on a hill and stands as a testament to the spiritual legacy of the region.
The Devaramane viewpoint, located a further 200 m from the temple, offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
Trekking Adventures
In Devaramane, there are numerous challenging treks available for both beginners and seasoned trekkers. The most prominent amongst are Ettinabujha or Bulls Hump-back, also known as Shishila Gudda, which stands tall at 3000 ft, providing a challenging ascent
