About Gangau Dam
Gangau Dam is located at the confluence of the Ken and Simiri rivers, near the boundaries of the Panna Tiger Reserve and Raneh Falls, in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The dam is located from the town of Khajuraho at a distance of 29 kilometres and from Panna at a distance of 50 kilometres.

Built during the British era, the dam was constructed between 1909 and 1915 within the depths of the Panna Tiger Reserve.
