The Don Bosco Museum in Shillong is one of the most significant cultural institutions in Meghalaya and the entire Northeast region of India. The Don Bosco Museum is located in Mawlai, Shillong, about 3 km from Police Bazaar, the city’s central hub. Travelers can easily reach the museum by hiring local taxis or taking shared cabs.
The nearest airport is Shillong Airport (Umroi), around 30 km away, while the nearest major railhead is Guwahati Railway Station in Assam, approximately 100 km from Shillong. From Guwahati, travelers can take a taxi or shared cab to Shillong, which is a 3-hour scenic drive through the hills.
