Shiva’s Birth

Once upon a time, Brahma and Vishnu were arguing with each other. Both were arguing about who was the supreme god in between them. Suddenly, a blazing pillar rises from the bottom of the earth whose branches and roots are far apart, spreading the bottom and heaven of the earth. Brahma became a goose and tried to reach the top of the pillar, but he couldn’t find the end. Similarly, Vishnu became a goose and tried to reach the bottom of the earth, but he also couldn’t find the end. Finally, they returned to where they started, and suddenly Shiva appeared from the pillar. Both Brahma and Vishnu immediately accepted the power of Shiva and knew he was a fellow ruler of the universe.
