About Hanuman Chatti
Situated at the confluence of Hanuman Ganga and river Yamuna, Hanuman Chatti is at a height of 2,400 m. Hanuman Chatti falls enroute to Yamountri, which is situated 13 km from here.
The riverside scenic place is home to numerous temples, among which the temple dedicated to Hanuman is famous.
To the left of the temple there is a burial shrine, dedicated to Himaya Giri. It is believed that he was a saint who meditated and lived around Hanuman Chatti. To the above of the shrine there is a Shiva linga, which people revere.
