About Naldehra
Naldehra is a beautiful place to visit near Shimla. It is surrounded by lush green valleys, magnificent mountain peaks, and refreshing freshwater springs.
History
Naldehra, famous for its 18-hole golf course, was built in Lord Curzon’s area. Constructed in the early 1900s , initially the golf course was a 9-hole course that was later expanded to 18 holes.
Currently, Himachal tourism maintains the golf course. Every year, various competition are held
in the background of magnificent peaks. The best time period for golfing is considered to be from April to October.
There is a prominent religious shrine located in Naldehra Mahunag Temple. Its dedication to the serpent lord holds great religious and cultural significance. Every year, thousands of devotees visit the temple for blessings.
Fairs and festivals
To experience the local culture of the region, you can visit the place in the month of April, when the Sipi Fair is held. Another fair bullfight, also called Jotton ka Mela, happens in the month of October.

A hot spring near Tattapani is a famous attraction near Naldehra. Its sulfur-rich hot water springs provide a relaxing experience.
