Elk Falls is easily accessible by road from Kotagiri. is situated about 7 kilometres from Kotagiri and approximately 35 kilometres from Ooty. Visitors can hire taxis or take buses to reach it. The nearest railway station is Coonoor, and the closest airport is Coimbatore, about 70 kilometres away.
