About Duduma Waterfall
One of the tallest waterfalls in India, Duduma waterfall is a magnificent waterfall located near the border of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Part of the eastern ghats, the fall is known for its breathtaking beauty, powerful cascades, and serene surroundings. The fall is located in a remote area, providing a secluded place for those who want to seek solitude in nature.
The waterfall lies on the Machkund river that originates from Odisha. It’s situated near Onukadelli village and located 70 km from Aaraku Valley.
Falling from a height of about 175 meters (574 feet), the waterfall is one of the tallest waterfalls in India. It cascades into two distinct streams known as Duduma East and Duduma West, creating a mesmerising view in the background of dense forest and rocky terrain.

The Machkund Hydroelectric Project receives water from the waterfall and helps in generating electricity power supply in the region.
Tribal Connection

Best Time to Visit
October to February is the best time to visit, as the weather is pleasant and the waterfalls are in full flow.
Avoid the monsoon season due to slippery terrain and strong water currents.
