About HAL Aerospace Museum
A pioneer of India’s aerospace, the HAL AerospMuseumseum unfolds the saga of Indian aviation, with a special focus on HAL’s milestones. Launched in 2001 by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), the museum is nestled 15 km from Bangalore City Railway Station in Marathahalli.
Aircraft Array
Featuring aircraft, prototypes, working models, and photographs in its two expansive halls, the museum is spread over an area of 4 acres. On the outside, iconic aircraft like MIG 21, Kiran, Marut, Ajeet, Canberra, Lakshya, and HT 2 are exhibited for the common masses.
Simulator Adventure
Providing an authentic feel of commanding a jet or plane, Visitors can enjoy a virtual flying experience through a basic simulator game and a real motion simulator.
The museum features a well-maintained rose garden, orchidium, and herbal garden. These parks encircle the greenery of the museum. To raise environmental awareness among the masses, Sustainability Park showcases models of solar power systems, biogas plants, and hybrid windmills.
Children’s Play Area
Inside the museum, there is a vibrant play area for children to ensure a delightful visit for families.

Enlightening the public about the rich legacy of Indian aviation , the HAL Aerospace museum has been serving as a platform since it launched in 2001.

The museum is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It’s a treasure trove for aviation aficionados and curious minds.
Entry fees
Entry Fee: Admission is Rs. 50 for adults, Rs. 30 for children, Rs. 50 for cameras, Rs. 50 for the Basic Simulator Game, and Rs. 100 for the Motion Simulator.
