Mapro Garden is famous for its luscious strawberry produce. Mr. Kishore laid the foundation of Mapro in 1959. Since then, it has captured the hearts of locals and travelers alike. 

Mapro Garden derives its name from the abbreviation “Mahabaleshwar Products”. A visit to Mapro offers opportunities that extend beyond these boundaries. The establishment offers a range of products, such as chocolate and fragrant gulkand. It’s a delightful exploration of taste and aroma.

Stawberry farming and much more

If you want to learn about strawberry cultivation, you can visit strawberry farms during the strawberry season. It is renowned for its wide range of food products. Several products, like fruit jams, fruit syrups, crushes, and chocolates, are available at the garden outlet. 

Fruit-based products of Mapro Garden, like raspberries, mulberries, and blueberries, are quite popular among visitors. 

On the garden premises, there are several shops selling Mapro products as well as souvenirs and handicrafts.  

To purchase a variety of chocolates, there is a chocolate factory where you can witness the whole chocolate-making process. At the food court, a variety of dishes and desserts are available to taste.

Mapro Garden hosts many events during festivals. Major attractions like dance music based on strawberry-themed activities happen at the Mapro Strawberry Festival.

The Strawberry Festival

The strawberry festival event is held in the months of March and April, when over 250 farmers from neighboring villages open their farms to curious tourists. The four-day extravaganza that coincides with Easter weekend is the best time to sample various strawberry products. Strawberry bhel, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and strawberry pizza are innovative treats to delight the senses. 

The strawberry festival at the Mapro Garden is not just an ordinary culinary affair. On the lively beats of the Dhola, traditional folk performances celebrate the celebration of local culture. Adding a vibrant touch, dancers from Pratapgarh infuse the festivals.
