It’s considered the second-most auspicious after the Triveni sangam.Devprayag finds mention in several ancient Hindu scriptures and texts, including the Skanda Purana and the Padma Purana, highlighting its historical and religious significance.
At Devprayag, it’s believed that part of Lord Vishnu lies. Surrounded by breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains, the confluence is a significant spot for pilgrimage travelers traveling to the Char Dham Yatra—Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri.
