About Chenap Valley
One of Uttarakhand’s hidden gems, Chenap Valley, is located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The unexplored part of Garhwal is somewhat similar to a valley of flowers but not as famous. The Chenap Valley lies at a height of approx. 12000 to 15000 feet and takes you to an experience that you will never forget.
Enroute of the trek, several Himalayan peaks fall, like Nanda Kot, Nanda Devi, Hathi, Dronagiri, Ghunti, and Hathi Falls. Part of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve, the valley is abundant with waterfalls, dense forest, streams, and wildflowers.
Best time to visit
The best time to visit Chenab Valley is when flowers carpet the whole valley. It happens between the months of May and October, when it receives heavy rainfall during the monsoon.
