Nearest Airport: Tezpur Airport (Assam), approximately 125 km away.
By Road: Dirang is well connected via National Highway 13 (part of the Trans-Arunachal Highway). The route passes through Bomdila, Bhalukpong, and Tawang, offering spectacular mountain views.
By Bus/Taxi: Regular buses and shared taxis operate from Tezpur and Itanagar.
Best Time to Visit
March to June – Pleasant weather and blooming flowers make this the best time for sightseeing and trekking.
September to November – Clear skies and mild temperatures offer excellent conditions for outdoor activities.
December to February – Cold winters, occasional snowfall; the hot springs become especially inviting.
