Gomatagiri is a popular Jain temple that is located on a small hillock known as Gomatagiri In the Nainod village near Indore. It’s a must-visit place if you are planning to visit Indore. It attracts devotees from all over the country. A significant religious temple is a major attraction for Jainism followers. 

The 21-foot statue of Gomateshwar

Inside the temple, there is a well-known statue of Gomateshwar, whose height is 21 feet. It’s an exact replica of the Bahubali statue in Shravanbegola, Karnataka. The impressive dimension and height of the statue will leave you in awe. 

24 Marble Shrines

The hillock also has 24 marble shrines that are dedicated to the 24 tirthankars of Jainism. Intricate design and carving on the marble add to the testament to the skill of the artisans who created them.
