Best Time to Visit
Open year-round, the best time to visit the sanctuary depends upon the type of birds you want to see:
Winter (October to March): Migratory species such as the Blackbird, Blue-headed Rock Thrush, and Malabar Trogon can be spotted. It’s the most rewarding season for birdwatchers.
Monsoon (June to September): In the monsoon season, the calls of resident birds like the Malabar Whistling Thrush and Paradise Flycatcher create a mesmerising experience.
Summer (April to June): It’s not the best time to visit the sanctuary, but you can still see rare species like the Crested Serpent Eagle and White-eyed Buzzard.
