Sacred Anthargange Temple


Named after the spring originating from the hill, Anthargange Temple holds great religious significance. In front of the temple is a statue of a bull, through which the water of the spring flows, which looks soothing to the eyes.

How to reach

There are two ways to reach the temple. Either you can take a motorable road or a 15-minute uphill walk amidst lush greenery, which adds a touch of adventure to the journey.

Anthargange caves atop the hill are quite a good place to explore around Anthargange. The trail to these Anthargange caves starts from the temple and takes around an hour.Night treks in the region are also quite popular and offer a surreal experience under the starry sky.However, be cautious of the resident monkeys, who add a playful charm to the surroundings.
