About Kemp Kemp Fort Shiva Temple
Standing as a testament to grandeur and spiritual significance, Kemp Fort Shiva Temple is nestled 12 km from Bangalore city railway station. Inaugurated on the auspicious day of Mahashivratri, Sri Shankaracharya of Sringeri was constructed in 1995.
Divine idol
Seated in the lotus position, the idol of lord Shiva is 65 feet tall. With the heavenly backdrop of mount Kailash and sacred river Ganga flowing, it looks amazing.
Sacred cave yatra
Reminiscent of the Amarnath Yatra, there lies a holy cave that houses 12 exquisitely adorned replicas of Jyotirlingas.

The cave is open to visitors from 9 am to 9 pm. During festivals like shivratri, thousands of devotees visit the place.

Situated near the entrance, there is a 35-foot-tall statue of Lord Ganapati that adds a divine ambiance . With his right hand blessings and a modak in the left, it exudes an aura of divine grace.
