Mythology
In mythology, the beautiful place is associated with Hanuman and Sita. It’s at this place where lord Hanuman found the nose ring of Sita in the kaveri river. This incident has lead to the name ‘Muthetharaya’ for Hanuman.
Cauvery wildlife sanctuary
Being surrounded by Cauvery wildlife sanctuary, Muthathi is home to diverse flora and fauna. You can spot various burd species, foxes, mongoose, langurs and Indian monitor lizards.
Hanuman temple
