Nrityagram, a gurukul for imparting training in various Indian forms, is a famous dance center situated on the outskirts of Bangalore. The village’s tranquil surroundings provide an ideal setting for immersive learning and artistic expression.
Established in 1990 under the passion and vision of Odissi dancer Protime Bedi,. An array of classical dance forms is taught at the Nrityagram. Odissi, Mohiniattam, Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathakali, and Manipuri are the major ones.

Vasanthahabba Festival at Nrityagram

Temple of Artistic Legacy
To pay respect to the founder Kelucharan Mohapatra, the guru of founder Protima Bedi In 1998, a temple was erected within Nrityagram. The temple captures Mohapatra’s dancing poses, showing its significant influence on the artistic legacy of Nrityagram.
