About Sri Kotilingeshwara Temple
A divine place Sri Kotilingeshwara Temple is a beautiful temple located in Kammasandra village, 35 km from Kolar.True to its name, Kotilingeshwara translates to ’10 million lingas.’
Built in 1980, the temple premise is spread over an area of 13 acres. There are various shrines dedicated to deities like Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, Lord Maheshwara, Goddess Annapoorneshwari, Lord Panduranga Swamy, Lord Panchamukha Ganapathy, Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Sita, Goddess Kanyaka Parameshwari, and Goddess Karumaari Amma. Devotees find solace and peace as they explore the various shrines.
Magnificent Shivalinga
Inside the temple, the monolithic structure of shivalinga of height 108 feet is among the largest shivalingas globally. Accompanying Shivalinga, the 35-foot-tall Nandi statue looks like a divine spectacle to the visitors.

The temple is open to the visitors from 6 AM to 6 PM.
