About Kethanahalli Falls
Falling from a height of 90 feet, Vivekananda Falls, also known as Kethanahalli Falls, is nestled in the heart of Chikballapur district. The seasonal waterfall amidst the five hills of Brahmagiri, Divyagiri, Nandagiri, Skandagiri, and Vishnugiri captivates visitors with its pristine beauty. The waterfall is a great option located just 78 kilometres from Bangalore.
Serene Surroundings
To reach the waterfall, the visitors must trek a track of approximately 1 to 2.5 kilometres from Kethanahalli village. The trek passes through scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The trek is relatively easy and can be covered by beginners.
Best season to visit
The best time to visit the Vivekananda Falls is during the monsoon season, when the flow of water is very high. During the rainy season, the surroundings become green, lush, and vibrant.
