About Arisina Gundi Falls
Nestled in the thick forest of Kodachadri Hills, Arisina Gundi Falls, also known as Arasina Makki Falls, is a beautiful waterfall. Situated deep within the Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary, the place is approximately 67 km from Murudeshwar.
Entry permission is obtained at the check post when entering the forest. Hire a jeep from Kollur temple and drive 8 km through the dense forest. At the end of the nearest approach road, you are required to do a 1-2 km trek.
Arisina Gundi Falls is large, with water cascading into a sizable pool. Swimming in the pool is perilous due to the sharp rocks, but there are smaller streams nearby suitable for swimming.
