Srirangapatna is a town steeped in history, culture, and spirituality. Nestled on the banks of the Cauvery River in Mandya district, the town was the capital of the legendary ruler Tipu Sultan. Srirangapatna is situated about 125 km from Bangalore and 18 km from Mysore, on an island formed by a bend of the Cauvery River.
