Origin of Mapro Garden

The factory was founded in the 1950s by Kishora Vohra under the vision of promoting fruit-based products in India. It was one of the first agro-tourism destinations in India that offers a mix of farming, food processing, and leisure experiences.

If you want to learn about strawberry cultivation, you can visit strawberry farms during the strawberry season. It is renowned for its wide range of food products. Several products, like fruit jams, fruit syrups, crushes, and chocolates, are available at the garden outlet.

At Garden, you can purchase Mapro products from an exclusive store at factory rates. It sells cheaper than retail stores. One of the famous Mapro cafes offers famous treats like fresh strawberry cream. Its made with handpicked strawberries, fresh cream and sugar. Apart from shakes and ice cream, the cafe offers strawberry pizza and strawberry sandwiches, offering a unique taste to the visitors. 

On the garden premises, there are several shops selling Mapro products as well as souvenirs and handicrafts.  

On-Site Chocolate Factory

On the site there is a factory of chocolate that provides an opportunity to watch the chocolate-making process and buy fresh handmade chocolates at the garden.

To purchase a variety of chocolates, there is a chocolate factory where you can witness the whole chocolate-making process. At the food court, a variety of dishes and desserts are available to taste.

The strawberry festival event is held in the months of March and April, when over 250 farmers from neighbouring villages open their farms to curious tourists. The four-day extravaganza that coincides with Easter weekend is the best time to sample various strawberry products. Strawberry bhel, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and strawberry pizza are innovative treats to delight the senses. 

The strawberry festival at the Mapro Garden is not just an ordinary culinary affair. On the lively beats of the Dhola, traditional folk performances celebrate the celebration of local culture. Adding a vibrant touch, dancers from Pratapgarh infuse the festivals.
