But in Delhi, what If I told you there’s Bharat darshan park made entirely of waste? Historical monuments like Khajuraho Temple, the Taj Mahal, the Char Minar, etc., made from waste products, adorn the park.
It’s a second waste park after waste to wander that is spread over an area of 8.5 acres in Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh. The theme of the park is based on the diverse cultural heritage of historical monuments in India. It was built by 200 artists in under 22 months. It was inaugurated by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation in December 2021 at a cost of Rs 14 crore.
A park is ideal for families and couples looking for weekend activities. The best view of the park comes at night when there is artificial light on the historical monuments. Light and sound shows entertain the audience by showcasing the history of monuments.
350 tonnes of scrapes material have been used to construct 22 replicas of historical monuments such as Outab Minar, Hawa mahal, Khajuraho temple, Nalanda university, Hampi, Victoria memorial, Gol Gumbaz, Nalanda university, Junagarh fort, Tawang gate, Jagannath puri, Sanchi stupa, Meenakshi temple, Mysore palace, etc.
Entry fees
Tickets can be booked online or collected at the office gate. The ticket is valid for 4 hours once you enter the garden.

After 4pm : Rs 150
For Children below 12 years of age: Rs 50
After 4pm: Rs 75
