About Kodiveri Dam
Kodiveri Dam and waterfall is located in the Erode district of Tamil Nadu, India. Near Sathyamangalam , the dam was constructed in the year 1975 by carving huge stones from the Bhavani River.
The waterfall is formed by the overflow of water from the dam. It’s a picturesque cascade, which makes it a popular spot for families and children. The water flow is refreshing, and visitors can enjoy a dip or a swim in the shallow areas, making it a popular spot for families and children.
Apart from recreational purposes, the dam supplies water for irrigation to the surrounding agricultural fields and supports local farming.
Best Time to Visit: The best time to visit is during the monsoon and post-monsoon seasons (June to January), when the water flow is at its peak and the surroundings are vibrant with greenery.
